NVIDIA has introduced three neural advancements aimed at transforming robot learning, bridging the gap between simulation and real-world applications. The innovations—Neural Robot Dynamics (NeRD), Reference-Scoped Exploration (RSE), and a third unnamed technology—were showcased at the Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL) 2025.
NeRD enhances simulation accuracy with learned dynamics models, achieving less than 0.1% error in tests with the ANYmal quadruped robot. RSE focuses on improving robotic dexterity by leveraging human motion data. These breakthroughs promise significant strides in adaptive robotics and real-world task execution.
